Happy Halloween!

We carved pumpkins and had to post them. Andrew carved the two perfect ones and I carved the one that a 5 year old could have done. Now for a Halloween joke that my mom told me in elementary school...
-Why couldn't the Witch and the Warlock have children?
-Because he had a hollow weenie.
Yeah.

lets talk music for a moment...

First of all... STARR... thank you for introducing me to Ray LaMontage. Where have I been? He is amazing. If anyone has not heard his music get on itunes and listen. Then download. He is amazing and has such a great voice.

Second... it is getting closer and closer to Christmas and that means Christmas music. Get your hands on
Sarah McLachlan's Winter Song album. I think that it was in the CD changer in my car until March this year.

Third... I am sure that everyone is aware that AC/DC came out with a new album. They don't allow itunes to carry any of their music so I tracked "Rock and Roll Train" from their new album down on the internet to listen to and it was good. I am thinking that I may need to walk over to Walmart and buy the CD.

I wanted to post a picture of how excited I felt to be leaving work in 5 minutes and so I googled EXCITEMENT and clearly this would be one of the first images that pops up.
Damn uppity steed.

Get Your Bull

So did someone signed me up for Field & Stream as a joke? In the last two weeks I have received 3 issues!! And they even spell my last name right! It is pretty funny that they are coming to me and not to Andrew. This week has been insane at work. I always pay dearly for taking time off, but SANDUSKY was worth it. Lindsay I waved toward Toledo! I didn't realize how close the two cities were! I had a lot of fun with Cherie. One afternoon I left the meetings and took off to see Sandusky. I went back to the hotel for a moment and asked a girl that worked at the little bakery what there was to do in Sandusky that would be fun. Her reply with a dead serious face was -there is nothing fun to do here. Wow tough crowd, tough crowd. What do you say to that? So I decided to get a cookie and they had a sugar cookie covered in frosting, covered in sprinkles (and I LOVE sprinkles) so stupid me, I asked her if it was good and she said-- I don't like frosting! So I paid for my cookie and left. What a crabby patty. Anyways, that is it for now. I just thought that I would check in.

Today I saw a car that was metallic turquoise with purple flames going down the sides. I thought that at any moment 10 clowns on uni-cycles were going to pop out and encircle my car while humming on kazoos. Please help me understand why anyone would ever pay good money for a car that was birthed at the carnival.

In other news, I get to spend next week with Cherie and her fellow Real Dealers in Tommy Boy's hometown!

Woot Woot!

So I am going to be an Auntie soon...

and I want to buy everything I see! I was looking online today and came across http://www.myretrobaby.com/ and they have some really cute, fun things such as this bib/burp set that for some reason copied REALLY small.
Or these cute little patterned shoe booties.

Or of course this "I Stroll L.A." baby t-shirt. I laughed really hard at this. If you have played Mario Kart on the Wii, you may see what I am seeing... all visual.

So now we just wait to find out if Starr and Ty are having a BOY or a GIRL and then we can go baby hog wild.
I am way excited, as you can tell, for this little bean to join our family!

Today I did a closing with a man who wears cowboy boots. I have met him before and have seen him around my office. On many occasions his jeans are tucked right into his boots.
Money cannot buy taste.
